Becky Brown’s very popular summer Horsemanship Summer Camp will be offered again ths year at it’s new location, BuckBranch Farm. This very popular educational program consists of one-week camps that meet Monday through Friday. A rider may enroll in one or more sessions. Horseback riding lessons for riders of any skill level from first time rider to advanced levels of dressage and jumping are featured.  Sessions cover safety, riding skills, grooming, tacking up, care of tack, veterinary and hoof care, nutrition and more.   Classes are grouped according to age and skill level with qualified instructors and well trained horses.

A typical day includes English riding lessons and educational equine discussion. Trail rides and Cross Country jumping for more advanced students are also included.  Camper to counselor ratio is low in order to ensure rider’s safety.

Required items:  Approved riding helmet (we have some to loan), boots or hard soled shoe with a 1” heel (no sneakers or hiking boots, please), snack (we have refrigeration), and water jug.
