Becky Brown earned her BFA at Texas Tech University in 1976 and studied at
The Talland School of Equitation in England. Becky has been certified by the British Horse Society as an instructor for over 35 years. In addition she has been an instructor at Willow Bend Polo and Hunt Club, a guest instructor for the U.S. Pony Club, and has taught horsemanship courses at Eastfield Community College. She is past president of The Dallas Dressage Club and Therapeutic Riding of Texas. She is also a local dressage judge and eventing coach.
Becky has taught hundreds of students during her career and has been successful in developing competition riders. Some of her successes include the winner of the Harry T. Peters Trophy for the Junior National Preliminary Champion, Gold Medallists in the North American Young Rider Championships at the CCI** level, the winner of the 2005 Jersey Fresh CCI**, and United States Dressage Federation Region 9 champions. Her past students have gone on to win the American Eventing Championships and to compete at Rolex Kentucky Three Day CCI****. She has consistently had students on the USEA National Leader Board, qualified students each year for the Region 9 Dressage Championships, and many others have won numerous local year-end awards.
Becky believes in giving her students a strong base in dressage. This philosophy is what continues to develop successful and correct riders in whatever discipline they decide to pursue. Her clients range from 8 year olds to parents and grandparents. She also has an adult Quadrille team!
With all this, Becky’s main goal is to instill in each rider a true understanding of how the horse thinks and how it communicates with its rider. Safety and fun are the hallmark of all her lessons. Becky is certified instructor with the United States Eventing Association and has earned her Bronze medal with the United States Dressage Federation.
Becky has been married for 35 years. She and her husband have one daughter.

BETHANY QUINE
Bethany began riding at age 11 in Dallas, Texas with Becky Brown. She trained exclusively with Becky through high school. In June 2006, Bethany began to work as a "working student" for Becky as well as studying to take the British Horse Society Riding Instructor Exams. In January 2007, Bethany moved to Cirencester in the United Kingdom to be a "working student" at the Talland School of Equitation. There she had the pleasure of training under
Mrs. Molly Siverwright, FBHS, FIH, FABRS and the author of "Thinking Riding", Pammy Hutton, FBHS, Brian Hutton, BHSI, Charlie Hutton, BHS PTC, Gery Sitton, BHSII and member of the Irish Eventing team at the Montreal Games where he was 6th individually, Justine Sole, BHSI and Richard Preston, BHSII. While in England Bethany took and passed the BHS stage 1, 2, and 3 Riding and Care exams, as well as, her Preliminary Teaching Test. She returned to Dallas in May 2007 and began her career as a riding instructor under the guidance of Becky Brown owner of the Becky Brown School of Horsemanship. She graduated with a degree in Business Management from the Collin College in May 2010. Sat for her American Riding Instructor exams in January 2011 and is now a Level I Certified Instructor in Dressage. Bethany enjoys starting the younger students, developing the skills of the junior hunter show team, as well as teaching beginner through intermediate adult riders. In addition to teaching Bethany has recently begun to compete with the Eventing Show Team coached by fellow instructor Rebecca Brown. Bethany is looking forward to developing her skills as a competitive rider.
